Akshay Kumar Drops Major Updates on Hera Pheri 4, Housefull 5 and Welcome 3

In a recent interview, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar gave insights into his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, alongside Tiger Shroff. As the release date approaches, Akshay Kumar shed light on the prospects of Hera Pheri 4, Housefull 5, and Welcome 3, teasing fans with the promise of a laughter-filled future.

During a conversation with YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast, Akshay Kumar addressed the dearth of comedy films in Bollywood. He expressed optimism, stating, “Abhi aa jayega. Yeh saal, agle saal tak kaafi comedy films aa jayengi.” The actor confidently revealed his involvement in several upcoming comedy ventures, declaring, “Do-teen toh main hi kar raha hoon.” When probed about specific projects, he elaborated, “Main kar raha hoon. Welcome kar raha hoon, Housefull kar raha hoon, phir shayad Heri Pheri bhi karoonga.”

In the same interview, Akshay Kumar delved into the delicate balance of humor in films and the potential for misinterpretation. He clarified, “Arre mazaak nahi uda raha hoon. I’m just doing a part. I’m just playing a character,” highlighting the distinction between comedic portrayal and personal intent.

Meanwhile, anticipation mounts for the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, although recent reports suggest a deviation from the conventional release strategy. Rather than a full-fledged release, the film is set to host paid previews on April 10, with screenings commencing from 6:00 pm onwards. This unexpected shift was communicated to multiplexes, prompting them to halt bookings for shows scheduled before the designated time. A multiplex official disclosed, “Just sometime back, we got a message stating that Maidaan’s shows should begin from 6:00 PM on Wednesday. We have been asked to not play any shows before the said time and that bookings of all shows before 6:00 PM should be immediately stopped. Later, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’s makers also made the same request.”

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan boasts a stellar cast, with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff headlining the action-comedy, accompanied by Prithviraj Sukumaran portraying the antagonist. The ensemble also includes Alaya F and Manushi Chhillar in pivotal roles, with a special appearance by Sonakshi Sinha. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment, the film promises an exhilarating blend of humor and adrenaline.

As fans eagerly await the cinematic treat that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan promises, Akshay Kumar’s revelations regarding his future projects only add to the excitement. With the potential resurgence of beloved franchises like Hera Pheri and Housefull, coupled with the prospect of a Welcome sequel, audiences can anticipate a comedic extravaganza in the coming years.
