Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film Mr and Mrs Mahi is about a couple who are passionate about cricket. The film was released with a decent number of collection but have been facing a dip.
According to the reports of Sacnilk.com, Mr and Mrs Mahi have earned only Rs 2 crore on Tuesday. The movie has been backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
On the day of release, the film has earned Rs 6.75 crore, On day 2, the film has minted Rs 4.6 crore, the movie eaened Rs 5.5 crore on day 3, and on day 4 the film’s collection was Rs 2.15 crore. As per the early estimates, the movie has minted Rs 2.10 crore on day 5. Hence the film’s overall earning is 10.60% Hindi occupancy on Tuesday.
The film Mr and Mrs Mahi is helmed by Sharan Sharma. The film casts Rajkumar Rao and Jahnvi Kapoor in lead roles. Janhvi Kapoor portrays the role of Mahima who is a doctor and becomes a cricketer after her husband Mahendra portrayed by Rajkumar Rao encourages her talent of cricket and helps her to chase her dreams and also becomes her coach. The film also casts actors like Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab among others. The movie is the second collaboration between Janhvi and Sharan. The movie also marks the second collaboration between Rajkumar and Janhvi after the horror comedy film Roohi by Maddok Films.
Recently Janhvi Spoke to PTI and said, “Eventually, what’s meant to happen with a film always happens and it might not be what you expect but it will be what a film deserves. Every film has a destiny.”
