Mr and Mrs Mahi New Song Roya Jab Tu Released; The Song Deals With Heartbreak

A new song from the movie Mr and Mrs Mahi released before few days of the movie release. Roya Jab Tu is the third track from the movie. The song is a romantic one which deals with the moments of pain and heartbreak in the relationship between the lead couple. This song is a bit different from the pre-released peppy tracks released earlier. The song is about the pain and self doubt which arises in rough times.

The track Roya Jab Tu has been sung by Vishal Mishra and the lyrics are by Vishal and Azeem Dayani. The music video of the song begins with a fight which breaks between the lead characters portrayed by Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. Rajkumar yells at Janhvi because of her poor performance and she stars crying. After this, Janhvi looses her focus and concentration on the game. Rajkumar then feels guilty for his behaviour and then tries to contact her. She remains with the rest of her team in practice sessions. Janhvi then gets called out because of her poor performance during a match. The end of the music video marks the two of them meeting but she doesn’t want to talk to him.

Mr and Mrs Mahi is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film has been helmed by Sharan Sharma. Janhvi in order to play the role of a cricketer in the film, she had to undergo two years of rigorous training. Her shoulder also got dislocated once. The film’s title has been kept in the honour of the former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is also known as Mahi. The film is to hit the theaters on May 31 and will also honour Dhoni’s legacy.
