Armaan, along with his second wife, Kritika Malik, was subjected to intense backlash for their polygamous marriage. Despite their attempts to clarify their stance and explain their personal choices, the criticism continued to mount. Payal Malik, who has been a prominent figure in the family’s public narrative, has been particularly affected by the negativity and hate directed towards them, which she feels is impacting their children’s well-being.
During a recent press conference for Bigg Boss OTT season 3, Armaan Malik was asked about Payal’s decision to ask for a divorce. Armaan’s response highlighted his support for Payal’s choice while also indicating that the final resolution of their situation would be addressed after the show concludes. He expressed his willingness to respect her decision and work through the issues once they were back home. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, Armaan stated, “It is her choice. If she wants a divorce, I will support her decision. But we will figure out things once we are out. The bond we three share is very strong; even if God comes down, he cannot separate us.”
In a recent vlog, Payal Malik opened up about the relentless hate and criticism she and her family have faced from online trolls. She revealed her distress over how the negativity has shifted from targeting her to affecting her children. “I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay, but now the hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids,” she said. Payal further explained that since Kritika would not be able to live with her son Zaid, she plans to leave the household with her three children. The Malik family’s situation underscores the complexities of their relationships and the challenges they face in the public eye. Armaan and Payal’s marital struggles, combined with the criticism from the broader public, have created a turbulent period for them. As they navigate their personal and public lives, the resolution of their family dynamics remains a significant concern for both them and their followers.
