Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Singh Sodhi is missing since April 22. Delhi police has filed a case for this.
Gurucharan Singh has been missing for five days. The actor was last seen at Delhi airport. DCP South-West Delhi, Rohit Meena has issued a statement regarding the case. He said that the investigation of the case is going on and a CCTV footage is being scanned by the police.
He spoke to ANI and said, ”Gurucharan Singh’s family lodged a complaint with us that he left for Mumbai on 22 April at 8:30 pm. He has been missing since then. We have registered a case and are investigating from multiple angles. We are looking for footage and technical investigation, and we have even found many vital clues.”
He further added, ”We have registered a case under Section 365 of the IPC. The initial probe involves following his movement according to CCTVs and analysing corroborative technical evidence. He is seen going with a backpack.”
The family and fans of Gurucharan Singh are still in a shock. Sachin Shroff who portrays the role of Tarak Mehta by speaking to HT City said, “I got to know on Saturday morning only. Though I have not worked with him on this show, the team is definitely helping the family and in touch with the agencies, it is quite disturbing.”
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala who is in the role of Gurucharan’s wife on the show said, “We weren’t in touch for a year now, but I tried calling him yesterday, his number was switched off. I am not aware if the show’s team is helping since no one among them is in touch with me. Gurcharan was a good person, I hope he is safe and sound. I am keeping my fingers crossed.”
Gurucharan’s fault Harjit Singh said to HT City, “All of us are very tense; we have not got any updates till now.”
