Actor Firoz Khan played the character of Chhedi in the TV show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai till 2021. He used to dress up like Amitabh Bachchan during his last performance.
Firoz Khan was a part of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, died due to heart attack a few days back. The news has been shared with his co-actor Aasif Sheikh. Years back Firoz has quit acting and was in his hometown.
Firoz was famous for his mimicking of Amitabh Bachchan. News18 has reported that the actor had dressed up as Amitabh Bachchan for his last show in Badaun in his hometown.
After Firoz Khan quit acting, left Mumbai because of some family issues. Rohitashv Gour and Tiwari Ji informed in a conversation with Aasif Sheikh, the actor was under stress and also was suffering from high blood pressure.
In an interview with ETimes shared his last meeting with Firoz Khan before his death and said, “Around 4-5 days ago, after I packed up, a random guy came to me and asked for a picture, and I clicked a picture with him. He told me that he was Firoz’s friend and lived a few blocks from him in Badaun. I asked him about Firoz, and he mentioned that Khan wasn’t doing very well, given the family dispute. I took Firoz’s number from him and decided to give him a call later.”
Aasif by sharing about Firoz’s last call said, “I received a call from his number, but I was in a shot, and I missed the call. I thought to myself that I’d call him after pack-up. We couldn’t talk. I couldn’t call him, and that is the regret and guilt that I am facing right now. I wished I would have called him and spoken to him. Maybe he needed some help, emotionally or financially. I could’ve helped him.”
Another Bhabi Ji actor, Saumya Tandon also shared with Indian Express and mourned about the actor’s demise and also remembered how he used to entertain everyone and mane everyone laugh with Amitabh Bachchan’s mimicry
Actor Firoz Khan was famous for mimicking Amitabh Bachchan. The producer of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai Binaiferr Kholi said that Firoz was battling with depression and went into a shell after COVID. The actor lost his will to act and never returned despite of a lot of coaxing. The actor lost his mother few months back which affected him more.
