Prithviraj Sukumaran is all set to start the shooting for Salaar 2. The actor has also dropped hints about the film’s release date.
Prithviraj Sukumaran has now shared an interesting update regarding the sequel of the film. Saar: Part 1-Ceasefire was released on December 22,2023. The film was directed by Prasanth Neel. The film stars, Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Hasan , Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simba, Tinno Annand and others.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently all set to release Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He has now shared about the sequel of Salaar :Part 1. The shoot for the sequel to to commence very soon. Sukumaran said, “Prashanth has got a very efficient, really packed shooting plan in place,” Prithviraj told Variety in an interview. “I will take time off between ‘Empuraan’ to go and finish a few sequences of ‘Salaar 2,’ but I am assuming definitely in 2025 it is releasing for sure. But when and how it’s up to Prashanth and (producers) Hombale Films,”
In a recent interview with News18, Prithviraj revealed that he had wanted to turn down the script of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan due to conflict in schedule. But Prashanth convinced him to do th4 film. He by saying this recalled, “While shooting for the climax of Salaar, I was talking to Prashanth about this nice and wonderful script that Ali Abbas Zafar narrated to me. I told him that I’ve been offered a role in the film but I won’t be able to do it because of date issues,”
He also said, “I spoke to Prashanth for about 20 minutes about the film and the script. That’s when he told me that it really looks like I want to do it. He said, ‘Knowing you, if you really let it go, you’ll feel rotten.’ And he was absolutely right. If I wasn’t a part of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, I would’ve been kicking myself after watching it,”
