The number of deepfake video of celebrities is increasing on social media as the Lok Sabhs election began. A clip of Allu Arjun emerged on X on Monday. The clip was shared and was said that he is campaigning for the congress party. This isn’t the fact though.
Allu Arjun can be seen waving and smiling at the people in the video while he was standing in an open-top car. Sneha Reddy can also be seen next to him in the same video. Arjun wore a white suit and Sneha wore a mustard saree. Many people can also be seen around the couple.
The video was captioned, “Allu Arjun is in the field to honour Congress.” “Allu Arjun is the biggest superstar of India. He is campaigning for Congress party,” said another person.
The original video is from 2022, when Allu Arjun was in New York in which he represented Indus in one of the most known annual events which was organised by the Indian diaspora in the US- the India Day parade. Allu was also honoured with the title of grand marshal then.
Then he had shared videos from the event which celebrated 75 years of India’s independence. He shared the video of himself in which he was waving the national flag at the parade. Arjun wrote in his Instagram stories, “It was an honour being the grand marshal at the India Day parade in New York.”
In the last few months deepfake videos of Aamir Khan, Rashmika Mandana, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif has emerged on social media platforms. A deepfake video of Ranveet Singj was also surfaced on social media few days back.
Allu Arjun will next be seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film is directed by Sukumar. The film also stars Rashmika Mandana as Srivalli. The film is to hit the screens on August 15.
