Allu Arjun iconic and all time classic movie ‘Arya’ completes 20 years of release on May 7. The actor becomes nostalgic while remembering the film. He also shared some throwback pictures.
‘Arya’ is Allu Arjun’s evergreen hit. The ‘Pushpa’ actor took to his official social media pages and celebrated the film by sharing some memories which are associated with the film. The actor had shared the poster of ‘Arya’ through a post and captioned it as, ‘it was not just a movie’.
Allu Arjun wrote on his official X, “20 years of Arya. It’s not just a movie… it’s a moment in time that changed the course of my life. Gratitude forever (sic).”
The actor also shared few pictures from the sets of ‘Arya’. The caption of the post read, ‘Sweet memories #20yearsofArya’ with a heart emoji.
‘Arya’ is directed and written by Sukumar. The noviid a action comedy which stars Allu Arjun, Anu Mehta and Siva Balaji in crucial roles. The movie of about a young boy named Arya who is free-spirited. Arya falls in love with an introvert girl named Geetha. But Geetha is protected by Ajay which becomes a roadblock for him.
‘Arya‘ hit the theaters on May 7, 2004. The film received immense love over the years.
The film was also remade in Tamil which was named ‘Kutty’. The film featured Dhanush and Shriya Saran. ‘Arya’ had a sequel in 2009 which was titled as ‘Arya 2’.
