The most awaited film Devar trailer is out now. The movie is led by Jr NTR, Said Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Here’s what are our thoughts about the trailer.
Amid the Devara trailer launch, a humaungous buzz have been created around the Telugu action drama. The buzz is more because of the chemistry between Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. Besides this, other exciting aspects of the fil includes high-octane action sequences and strong background music and many more. But, by creating all disappointment the movie couldn’t live up to the expectations of the viewers.
The trailer is 2-minutes 40-seconds long. The begining of the trailer shows a glimpse of the fearless Devara, a man who Undergoes to the world of sea to fight for his people. He then transfers his legacy to his son Vara which seems to be the next-to-impossible task as his offsping is a mild-mannered man who doesn’t have it in him to fight in the battleground. There is an abrupt jump to the introduction of the son from that of the father. The makers could have done a smooth transition. The rival is then seen talking about killing Devara soon after which the scene is cut to the weakling, Vara.
Saif Ali Khan portrays the role of Bhaira who is a rival of Devara, but this isn’t one of the killer Saif looks as an antagonist that would have left us pumped. May the makers did not want him to shine brighter than the leading protagonist. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor (Thangam), is seen as the love interest of Vara, who is very well aware of his soft behavior. But the one-line trailer gives the amount of attention she was being used to garner in promos. Her role was expected to be more than a one-liner in the trailer.
The trailer of Devara: Part 1 could have signed much more in terms of its larger-than-life action sequences. But unfortunately, it can be said that the execution isn’t all how it was expected to be. In the end scene, Jr NTR is seen on a dolphin; and there’s a rise of a hero. But no clear version of him be a visual spectacle is given . The VFX is also entirely not up to the mark. The movie has a budget of ₹150 crore. This seems to be a fight between the land and the sea. The Hindi dub by Jr NTR doesn’t look very natural either. And we understand, may be because of the language barrier.
Within just an hour of the release of the trailer, it has garnered 551K views and over 4,000 comments. So it can be said that the opening day is going to be earth-shattering. The advance booking sales in North America are also a huge hint about the fact. Everything seems to be in favor so far. We can also hope Jr NTR starrer does tremendous business after a big opening and does not suffer due to mixed reviews. The movie also has a strong content. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the theatrical release of the film.
