Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan took to his Instagram and shared a video in which he has denied to the rumours of him to be arrested in Dubai.
There have been rumours that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan got arrested at the Dubai airport. Amid the rumours, the Pakistani singer came forward and quashed his arrest speculations. He has also urged his fans not to believe his fake reports and rumours.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the video said, “I have come to Dubai to record my songs. All the work on my songs is going great. Everything is fine here”.
He further added, “I am just requesting my fans not to trust any rumours which are emerging. Aisa kuch nahi hai. I am working on several songs, and will be back with a superhit song soon which will take over the world. There is wrong news and rumours about me being spread, I am requesting each one of you not to trust that.”
The singer continued, “Don’t waste your time on such rumours being spread by my enemies. Keep your trust in me. You are my power. My audience and my fans are my power. I love you all”.
As per the reports of Geo TV, On Monday, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have been arrested in Dubai airport over a defamation complaint by his former manager who said that the singer was in Dubai for a musical collaboration. Few months back, the singer has fired his manager because of a dispute. After which the duo has filed cases against each other.
Earlier this year, Rahat was into another controversy. His video went viral which showed him slapping a person. Reportedly in the video, Rahat can be seen slapping the man, whom he later indentified as his protege Naveen Hasnain with a slipper asking “Where is my bottle?”
Some of Rahat’s hit songs includes Mann ki Lagan and Jiya Dhadak Dhadak. He has issued a clarification through a series of videos on Instagram. He said the viral video was an “internal matter” between a master and his disciple.
