Kareena Kapoor Khan’s song from the ‘Asoka‘ movie of the movie is all over the internet. Now Kareena has opened up about her reaction about the on going trend. She by talking about the Grazia India called it ‘iconic’ and has also shared how her look has been achieved for the ‘Asoka’ movie.
Recently Kareena was invited in an event of the publication on the sidelines of the Bvlgari. There she was asked about the Asoka trend which has been ruling the internet. She said, “I think it’s amazing because 20 years later, it truly is iconic. It was iconic then when we were actually doing it. Making the tattoos, making the eyes. At that time we just, we never thought. We knew that this would be, in some way, pathbreaking even then.”
Kareena also shared that they wanted her look to be edgy without makeup. She revealed that she didn’t have any makeup on and said, “We wanted her to have something slightly more edgy and different. There was no makeup actually on my face, there were just designs around my eyes and not a drop of makeup. The vloggers have been using the song San Sanana from the Santosh Sivan’s film ‘Asoka’ for their makeup videos. Since then the song turned to a beauty trend on TikTok as well as on Instagram. The vloggers have been using short transition videos in which they had bare face and then a full faced makeup which had Kareena’s trademark tattoo on face and then finally they showed Indian bridal makeup on the song. The song as well as the makeup looks have been viral all over the world.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s last project was Crew. The film also featured Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Kareena’s upcoming project is Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
