Vicky Kaushal is all set to portray the role of Maharaj Chhava. The movie is directed by Laxman Utekar and Rashmika Mandana is Vicky’s co-star.
Vicky Kaushal’s look from his upcoming historical film Chhava as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has been leaked. Vicky can be seen in the regal getup of the Maratha ruler.
Many pictures from the second schedule of Chhava has been leaked on X. Vicky is seen in a long beard with long locks tied into a bun like Shiva. He can be seen wearing a beige sleeveless jacket and a light brown dhoti. He can also be seen wearing a bunch of traditional accessories.

Chhava is a historical drama which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj who is the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film seems to be the first collaboration between actors Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana. Vicky portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika portrays the role of his wife Yesubai Bhonsale.
Rashmika after wrapping up the film, took to her Instagram and gave a shoutout to the team. Rashmika by thanking Laxman and Vicky for being excellent collaborates wrote, “@laxman.utekar sir… I just wonder how can a man handle such a big set with at least 1500 working people with such calm and poise.” She also wrote, “Sir you have seen me as Yesubai when no one in the world could’ve even thought about this and I truly wonder how, and not just me. The whole country will wonder how.. but watching those visuals make me tear up.. you’ve gotten a performance out of me that I am excited for the world to watch,”

Chhava is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Filmd and is to hit the theaters on December 6.
