Director Lokesh Kanagaraj seems to have assembled an interesting cast for Rajinikanth’s much anticipated film ‘Thalaivar 171.’ Reportedly DT Next, actor Mic Mohan has been approached to portray the role of antagonist in the movie.
Recently mews has been emerged that Rajinikanth is going to join hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The news has brought great excitement among the fans as this is the first time they both have been working together. Kanagaraj hae also delivered some fantastic hits in the past which are Kaithi, Master and Vikram.
Reportedly the makers of the film also wants Shah Rukh Khan to make a special appearance in the film. Shah Rukh has also payed tribute to Rajinikanth in 2013 with the song Lungi Dance. This shows how much SRK admires Rajinikanth. In 2011 Rajinikanth appeared in Shah Rukh’s film RaOne as Chitti the Robot. Though till now there is no confirmation of SRK’s cameo in ‘Thalaivar 171’.
A report has also stated that Rajinikanth’s film is inspired by a Hollywood film Purge(2013). The story is about a night where all the crimes including murders are legal. Therefore the members of wealthy family are under threat. Though there is no confirmation if the story is inspired by Hawke’s Hollywood thriller. The Hollywood film casts, Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Adelaide Kane and Max Burkholder.
