Sudhanshu on Bigg Boss 18:
In an interview with The Free Press Journal, Sudhanshu Pandey put to rest any speculation about him entering the Bigg Boss house. When asked whether he would be participating in the upcoming season of the reality show, hosted by Salman Khan on Colors TV, Sudhanshu responded candidly. “An actor like me can never be part of a show like that,” he said. This straightforward response highlights his reluctance to join the show as a participant.
Interestingly, Sudhanshu has previously worked with Salman Khan in the 2021 action thriller Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, directed by Prabhu Deva. Despite this connection, Sudhanshu’s comments suggest that reality TV is not aligned with his career plans at this time. In a previous interview with The Indian Express, Sudhanshu had expressed his interest in potentially hosting Bigg Boss in the future but firmly stated that he would not be participating as a contestant. “God willing, one day I will host it for sure, but won’t be there as a participant,” he had remarked.
Reasons for Leaving Anupamaa:
Sudhanshu also addressed the reasons behind his exit from Anupamaa. The actor clarified that his departure was not due to any conflicts with the show’s producer, Rajan Shahi, or a fallout with his co-star Rupali Ganguly. He also dismissed speculations that his exit was related to the introduction of Gaurav Khanna’s character as a new love interest for Rupali’s character, Anupamaa. “The character of Vanraj was pivotal to the show’s drama,” Sudhanshu explained. “Even after Gaurav Khanna’s entry, my positioning remained the same. The romantic angle introduced with his character was only a part of the show’s evolving narrative. For a show to thrive, it needs more than just romance; it needs strong dramatic elements. Vanraj’s character was a cornerstone of Anupamaa, and its integrity needed to be preserved.”
Sudhanshu further elaborated on his relationship with Rupali Ganguly, addressing rumors of tension between them. “Rather than asking me, people should check my Instagram page. I have not unfollowed anyone. In fact, Rupali just shared something with me on WhatsApp. Why would I do anything like that? It’s not like we’re teenagers who broke up. We are mature professionals. I don’t know if it has happened from the other side, but I find this very childish. It doesn’t reflect well on our personalities,” he said, dispelling any notions of discord.
