The list of Highest tax-paying celebrity is already out and Shah Rukh Khan is on no.1. The list also includes stars like Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Thalapathy Vijay, Salman Khan and many more.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has topped the highest tax-paying celebrity of 2024. It is said that the actor have paid an amount of ₹92 crore as tax. This year has proved to be one of his best years as he had blockbuster films like Jawan, Pathaan and Dhunki. Jawan and Pathaan have crossed ₹1000 crore at the box office. According to the list shared by Fortune India, the second highest tax-paying celebrity is Thalapathy Vijay. Today, his latest movie magnum-opus Greatest of All Time have been released on big screen. The actor’s Leo which was released in October 2023 have managed to earn a good amount at the box office. The third highest tax-payer on the list is Salman Khan. The actor has paid the tax amount of ₹75 crore. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan have positioned himself at the fourth place by paying ₹71 crore. Amitabh’s Kalki 2898 AD was a massive hit of this year. The actor currently is the host of the telivision show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Cricketer Virat Kohli this time is on the fifth position of the list. He has paid a tax amount of ₹66 crore. By paying ₹42 crore Ajay Devgn is on the sixth position. Another cricketer MS Dhoni is on the seventh spot. He is the brand ambassador of many brands and he has paid a tax of ₹38 crore. Ranbir Kapoor have paid tax of ₹36 crore. Animal was his biggest hit of the year. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and actor Hritik Roshan have paid a tax amount of ₹28 crore.
