Respected Indian film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, known for his unwavering support to the industry, recently showcased his generosity by transferring the title “King” to Shah Rukh Khan. This gesture came about swiftly after SRK expressed interest in the title, emphasizing Nadiadwala’s respect and admiration for the iconic actor. Originally intended for an action film with Hrithik Roshan in 2017, titled “King” and directed by Kabir Khan, the title has now found its way to Shah Rukh Khan, aptly known as “King Khan.”
Sajid Nadiadwala’s decision reflects his belief that SRK is the most fitting candidate for the title, aligning perfectly with the actor’s moniker. The film “King,” directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand in collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment, is set to begin filming soon with a start-to-finish schedule and is scheduled for a 2025 release, marking Shah Rukh Khan’s next full-fledged feature film after “Dunki,” directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
