In an interview with Bollywood Life, Ashutosh Rana refrained from passing judgment on whether Nitesh Tiwari could do justice to Lord Ram’s story. He admitted to knowing Tiwari only through his films and expressed his reluctance to comment without personal acquaintance.

Speculation surrounds the casting, with Ranbir Kapoor rumored to play Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita Maa. Additionally, reports suggest that Yash from “KGF Chapter 2” is being considered for the role of Raavan, commanding a hefty fee of 150 crores. Sunny Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are rumored to portray Lord Hanuman and Vibhishan, respectively.

Budget Concerns and Production:

“Ramayana” is mounted on a staggering budget exceeding 500 crores. However, concerns over expenses led producer Madhu Mantena to withdraw from the project. Despite this setback, fans eagerly await updates on the film’s progress.
