Recently Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram account and shared throwback pictures that showcased her journey from the 2000s to the present.
On Saturday, Priyanka shared a picture of her from present times and another picture was a throwback one from a beauty pageant.
PC captioned her post as, “How it started.. how it’s going. (hearts emojis) PS: those 2000s brows though (eyes emoji). My 17 year old self was just trying to pretend like I belonged. In that moment I was desperately trying to keep it together. With the weight of the heavy sari and the newly acquired crown flimsily pinned into my hair with 2 bobby pins, my confidence was slowly slipping as well. But I held it together, just like my sari, with a few safety pins. (smiling emoji)”
In the first picture PC wrore her Femina Miss India sash and a white saree. The second picture of her is from present times where she takes a mirror selfie. She carries a grey jeans jacket which she paired with a white drop-top and matching pants. A fan reacted to Priyanka’s post and wrote, “The best and baddest miss world ever (fire emojis). A second fan commented, “Queen of Bollywood (heart-shaped eye emoji)”. While another user complemented her and wrote, “Such an inspiration”.
Priyanka’s debutant film was Vijay’s courtroom drama Thamizhan. Her Bollywood debut was Anil Sharma’s The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. She won a National Award for Best Actress for Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion. Her last release was American rom-com Love Again. She is currently shooting for her upcoming movie Heads of State. The film is a action-comedy which stars Idris Elba and John Cena. Priyanka is also an executive producer for the Oscar nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger.
