Much awaited biopic of Madhubala is finally in the works. The film is being shaped under director Jasneet K Reen. After months of speculation, finally the announcement of the biopic of the Iconic Character Madhubala was made on Friday. The news was confirmed by the producers Sony Pictures International Productions. The film is co-produced by Madhubala ‘s sister, Madhur Brij Bhushan and Arvind Kumar Malviya under the banner Madhubala ventures. The director of the film is Jasneet K Reen who has directed Alia Bhatt for ‘Darlings’.

Madhubala starred in approximately 60 films in her two-decade long career. Some of her remarkable movies are Half Ticket, Mr. and Mrs. 55, Mughal-e-Azam, Mahal, Badal and many more. Madhubala was celebrated for her Beauty and was considered one of the highest earning actress of that time.
