Rashmika Mandana gaind a roaring success of Animal. The actress is now all set to work in AR Murugadoss’ action film Sikandar opposite to superstar Salman Khan. This will be Rashmika’s collaboration with Salman, AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Rashmika is a popular Tamil and Telugu actress. She debuted in Bollywood with Goodbye in 2022. She had starred in Mission Majnu and Animal.
Salman Khan announced about his upcoming film Sikandar on the occasion of Eid. Khan by revealing about your title of his film on his Instagram account wrote, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar). Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”
The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss and is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The mic is to hit the theaters on 2025 on the occasion of Eid.
AR Murugadoss’ directorial debut was with the film Ghajini. The film minted Rs. 100 crore at the domestic box office. The filmmaker also presented Akshay Kumar starrer film Holiday: A Soldier Is Nevet Off Duty.
Salman Khan comes up with his new film every year on Eid. His first film which was released on Eid was Judwaa in 1997. His blockbusters which released on Eid includes, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Bharat, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Dispite of the occasion being synonymous with a release of Salman Khan, this year the actor broke the pattern with his no film release on Eid. But he announced about his film on the occasion of Eid.
Salman’s last prophecy was Tiger 3. The film was a action thriller which had a decent box office collection. The movie was directed by Maneesh Sharma. It casted Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in key roles.
