Nitesh Tiwari has finally begun to shoot for his upcoming film Ramayana. In the Ranvir Kapoor portrays the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi is in the role of Sita and Sunny Deol plays Hanuman.
A week back pictures of Lara Dutta was leaked from the sets of Ramayana which emerged on social media. Recently Lata Dutta spoke with Indian Express and by responded about the rumours of her role of Kaikeyi in the film. Zoom had recently clicked some pictures from the sets of Ramayana which shows Lara in saree and heavy gold jewellery.
Lara Dutta said, “I am hearing it a lot as well. I am leaving the rumours out there. I also like reading and hearing about them, so please continue. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of Ramayana? There were so many characters I would have loved to play if it was offered to me – Surpanakha, Mandodari, I am playing them all (laughs).”
Besides Lara Dutta, pictures of Arun Govil was also leaked from the sets. Previously Arun Govil played the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagat’s iconic Doordarshan show Ramayan. He will be portraying the role of King Dashrath in Nitesh’s Ramayana. Arun sported a long beard and wore a mukut on his head.
Nitesh Tiwari’s shooting for Ramayana has begun. Bobby Deol is reportedly approached for the role of Kumbhkaran. But news agency ANI haven’t gave any confirmation regarding this. There are also rumours that Vijay Sethupatji can portray the role of Raavan’s youngest brother Vibhishan. The first part of Ramayana trilogy of set to release around Diwali 2025.
