Kalki 2898 AD is a post-apocalyptic film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The trailer have been released on Monday evening and is on trending from its release. The movie has been helmed by Nag Ashwin and the film is an inspiration of the Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD. In the trailer, the director loosely imagines Mahabharat in a futuristic lens and adds a dystopian touch to it. The film also casts Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan.
Amitabh Bachchan is seen in the role of Ashwatthama and says to Deepika Padukone that she is carrying ‘God’ in her womb. Ashwatthama was a fierce warrior and Duryodhanad’s ally in Mahabharata. After watching the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD, Amitabh have been receiving a lot of applause from fans in Reddit.

The trailer of Kalki 2898 AD shows the city of Kaashi which is governed by a king in a dystopian world which is portrayed by Saswata Chatterjee. The king has his eye on Deepika Padukone which is portrayed by Deepika Padukone. According to some fans, ‘Deepika is the mother of Kalki in the film’.

Disha Patani also portrays a crucial role in film and also has an action avatar. She kicks someone before telling Prabhas, “Tumhe sirf khud se pyar hai Bhairava (You only love yourself).” One Reddit many have started debating about the love interest of Prabhas in the film and many thought it to be Disha.

The end of the trailer shows Kamal Haasan who is barely recognisable. The actor has an unique avatar which is Kali and is the main antagonist. The fans are excited with his voice and VFX. The actor’s look has some traces from Lord of the Rings. The battle between him and Prabhas’s Bhairava is a must watch.
According to the trailer, Prabhas is not portraying the lead role. In the trailer, the king tries, get hold on Deepika who plays the role of the pregnant woman who carries his nemesis in her womb.
