Anupam Kher took to his official X and shared that his Mumbai’s office has been burgled. He also shared that he has filed an FIR for the same.
On Thursday, actor Anupam Kher shared on X that his Veera Desai home has been burgled ane his cash safe along with the negatives of a film has been stolen. The film has been shot by his company but is not released yet.
Anupam shared a video on X and wrote in Hindi in the caption, “Last night, at my Veera Desai Road office, Two thieves broke in and stole a safe from the accounts office (because they couldn’t break open the safe). It had negatives of a film my company had shot. My office has filed an FIR and the police has assured us that the thieves would get caught very soon because the CCTV camera has captured them leaving with all the stuff in an autorickshaw. May god give them better sense. This is the video shot by my team before the police arrived.” Anupam has also tagged the Mumbai Police’s official X handle. As per the reports of PTI, the police said that the burglers has taken Rs. 4.15 lakh which was stored in the safe. According to the police, Anupam came to know about the incident on Thursday morning when the office staff came and saw the locks broken. The first information report has been registered at the Amboli police station under the relevant sections of the Indian Pennel Code and probe was underway, said a police official.
Om the work front, Anupam’s upcoming project is Tanvi The Great. The actor has announced the film on his birthday this year on March 7.
