After Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh’s Deepfake video is surfaced on internet. The video shows Ranveer Singh endorsing a political party. Recently many Indian celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Rashmika Mandana, Nora Fatehi and others fell prey to the Deepfake trend. It has become s matter of concern after such constant cases.

Days after Aamir Khan’s viral Deepfake video, Ranveer Singh’s Deepfake AI video of promoting a political party went viral on internet.

The original video of Ranveer Singh is from his recent visit to Varanasi in which he shared his experience of visiting the city. Recently he turned showstopper with Kriti Sanon for designer Manish Malhotra’s fashion show at Namo Ghat of Varanasi. Now, the actor’s AI-generated video shows him promoting a political party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The actor’s spokesperson while talking about Aamir Khan’s AI video, said that the PK actor had never promoted any political party in his 35-year career. He said, “He has dedicated his efforts to raising public awareness through Election Commission public awareness campaigns for many past elections.”

“We are alarmed by the recent viral video alleging that Aamir Khan is promoting a particular political party. He would like to clarify that this is a fake video and totally untrue. He has reported the matter to various authorities related to this issue, including filing an FIR with the Cyber Crime Cell of the Mumbai Police. Mr. Khan would like to urge all Indians to come out and vote and be an active part of our electoral process.”

The 31-second clip features Aamir Khan saying that every Indian citizen is a ‘Lakhpati.’ The video is concluded with an image of the Congress party symbol, accompanied by a message advocating for ‘Nyay’ and urging viewers to vote for the Congress party, which is also echoed in the background audio.
