The comedy drama Laapataa Ladies will be streaming on Netflix. The film is wriby Sneha Desai and is produced by Aamir Khan. The movie ir based in novella by Biplab Goswami. It hit the theaters on March 2. It received warm reaction from the audience.
Netflix India shared the announcement through their official Instagram handle on April 25 and wrote, “TAAZA KHABAR: Laapataa Ladies mil chuki hai! ðŸäé #LaapataaLadies, starts streaming at midnight, on Netflix,”
Laapataa Ladies is a film of 2003 which about two brides who accidentally get separated in a train in 2001 in rural India. Then the film follows the search for the actual bride. The bride’s journey ends up at a wrong station and the true intentions of the woman ends up in the wrong village.
The film revolves around the adventures of two young brides and their journey of self-discovery. The movie had received standing ovation at TIFF during its premiere. The film has also received immense appreciation from the critics and the viewers for its story, performance, witty humour and entertainment value.
The film is helmed by Kiram Rao and is produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film also features Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ratna, Sparsh Shrivastava and Ravi Kishan. The screenplay and dialogue is penned by Sneha Desai and the additional dialogues are by Divyanidhi Sharma.
