Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Khanna starrer film ‘Yodha’ was released on March 15. Have a look on the opening day estimates at the box office below!!
The first day’s collection of Sidharth’s was pretty lukewarm. Despite of facing compitition with Ajay Devgn ‘s latest release ‘Shaitaan’ Sidharth’s Yodha have managed to earn #4.25 crore on Day 1. The action-packed movie ‘Yodha’ is directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna are Sidharth’s co-stars in the film.
A film critic Taran Adarsh announced that a buy-one-get one ticket is available on this weekend for the film. He posted on X(earlier known as Twitter),“Yodha buy-one-get-one free ticket offer. Amazing news for fans wanting to experience the action-thriller on the big screen. This weekend, team Yodha announces #Buy1Get1 [#BOGO]free ticket offer. Yodha stars Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.”
Sidharth Malhotra is yet again back in his uniform with his high-octane action thriller Yodha. The movie witnessed a 15.5 percent occupancy in Mumbai accross 58.9 shows. In Delhi-NCR it was 14.25 percent occupancy with 693 shows.
According to Hindustan Times review,“Yodha’s corny and complacent co-opting of it and surface-level interpretation of the Kashmir issue and terrorism, render this film with nothing new to offer. A ray of hope appears when it’s very briefly suggested that the hero has gone rogue, but even that remote possibility is quickly shushed into a corner. Thereafter, the film plunges itself headlong into solving the broad-brushstrokes puzzle of its own making. I hope the aeronautical explanations and Sidharth’s ability to fight when most people would struggle to take off their oxygen masks in the belly of the plane, passes muster with the experts. But that’s Bollywood for you.”
Sidharth’s previous box office success was back in 2016 with ‘Kapoor & Sons’. The film earned ₹73.29 crore. After that his films have struggled which included ‘Thank God’ (2022) it earned ₹34.89 crore, Marjaavan(2019) grossed ₹47.78 crore and ‘Jabaria Jodi’ and ‘Aiyaary’ collected ₹16.33 crore and ₹18.22 crore respectively.
