Supernatural horror thriller movie Shaitaan by Vikas Bahl achieved it’s highest single-day collection on Sunday. Ajay Devgan, Jyotika and R Madhavan are in lead roles.
On day 3 of the film Shaitaan earned roughly ₹20 crore to it’s Indian collection and took it’s early estimates to ₹53 crore. Since it’s release kn March 8, reportedly, the supernatural horror thriller has been doing well at the domestic box office. In it’s’s opening weekend the film earned an estimate of ₹53 crore.
Shaitaan improves it’s performance day by day. It opened at ₹14.75 crore on Friday and collected ₹18.75 crore on Saturday. The movie achieved it’s highest single-day collection on Sunday bringing it’s total domestic collection to ₹54 crore. The morning shows on Sunday had 21.35 per cent occupancy, in the afternoon this increased to 37.61 per cent and 48.58 per cent during the evening. During the night there was a slight decrease which is 37.40 per cent. Shaitaan is expressed to pass the crucial Monday test by earning ₹50 crore mark within 3 days.
The director of the horror movie Shaitaan is Vikas Bahl. It is presented by Jio studio, Devgan Films and Panorama Studios. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn , Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangt Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The film is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror movie Vash which is written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik.
