However, quashing speculations of a direct sequel, Chhabra clarified that his next directorial venture wouldn’t bear the title “Dil Bechara 2.” He acknowledged the profound emotional resonance attached to the original film and its association with Sushant Singh Rajput. “There are a lot of emotions attached with that movie,” he explained. “We are all very emotional about that film and Sushant. So, we won’t title it as Dil Bechara 2. I want to keep the love and respect for that film separately.”
