Sidharth’s latest release action-packed movie “Yodha” have had a rollercoaster journey since it’s release. The film has finally managed to cross Rs.20 crore at the box office.
Sacnilk.com have reported that ‘Yodha’ have earned over Rs.21 crore in India. Sidharth Malhotra is in the leading role in the movie. Director of the film is a debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
‘Yodha’ witnessed an income of Rs.4.1 crore on Day 1. On day 2 to the film minted Rs.5.75 crore. Day 3 and day 4 witnessed earning of Rs.7 crore and Rs.2.15 crore respectively. On 5th day the film earned Rs.2.30 crore nett in India. So far the film has earned Rs.21.30 crore.
The Hindustan Times review of the film : “Yodha’s corny and complacent co-opting of it and surface-level interpretation of the Kashmir issue and terrorism, render this film with nothing new to offer. A ray of hope appears when it’s very briefly suggested that the hero has gone rogue, but even that remote possibility is quickly shushed into a corner. Thereafter, the film plunges itself headlong into solving the broad-brushstrokes puzzle of its own making.”
‘Yodha’ is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashanl Khaitan. Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna are Sidharth’s co-stars in the film. ‘Yodha’ will also also stream on Prime Video after running in theaters.
Recently Sid surprises his fans by visiting a theatre in Mumbai. A video clip went on the internet where Sidharth was seen interacting with moviegoers and also took selfie with them. Fans also were excited on seeing Sidharth and also cheered him and expressed love for the film.
