Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Starrer Fails to Cross Rs 50 Cr Mark

On its fourth day at the box office, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, maintained steady performance throughout its opening weekend, albeit falling short compared to Akshay’s previous hit, “OMG 2.”

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film garnered Rs 9 crore on Sunday, accumulating a total domestic earnings of Rs 40.75 crore. Despite a reported budget of Rs 350 crore, the movie’s worldwide collection stands at Rs 95.18 crore. To boost ticket sales, the filmmakers also introduced a buy-one-get-one offer on Sunday.

The film debuted on Eid Thursday, amassing Rs 15.65 crore in its opening, but faced a setback on the subsequent day, witnessing a 51 percent drop with Rs 7.6 crore earnings on Friday. Although it experienced a slight weekend surge, the collection remained in the single-digit range with Rs 8.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 9 crore on Sunday.

For both Akshay and Tiger, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” holds significance as they seek to rebound from a string of unsuccessful films. Despite Akshay’s recent success with “OMG 2,” surpassing or matching its box office performance remains a challenge. The film collected Rs 55.17 crore within the same timeframe.

Similarly, Tiger has faced a dry spell since 2022, with films like “Ganapath” and “Heropanti 2” failing to make an impact. “Ganapath,” with a budget of Rs 130 crore, earned a mere Rs 15.5 crore, while “Heropanti 2” managed only Rs 35 crore.

Competing with Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan” at the box office, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has outperformed its counterpart in earnings. “Maidaan” accumulated only Rs 21.85 crore within the initial four days of its release.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Alaya F, Manushi Chillar, Ronit Roy, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.
