Mumbai police have arrested two men from Punjab and the custody of the suspects is also extended.
It’s been more than ten days of the firing case outside Salman’s Mumbai residence at Galaxy apartment. The case is taking new turns everyday and the investigations is also bearing new fruits.
According to the recent report, police have arrested two men from Punjab who are connected with the firing incident and had supplied weapons. The custody of the shooters is also extended.
Mumbai Crime Branch has nabbed two men from Punjab who ate alleged connection with the firing incident that took place outside Salman Khan’s house on April 14. A police officer said, the two identified as Subhash Chander (37) and Anuj Thapan (32) are in connection with an infamous gangster and had gave pistol ant cartridges to the shooters on March 15.
Mumbai police has arrested the two accused from Gujarat named Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal fro Kachchh. The were presented before court on April 16. They were to be kept in custody till April 24,2024. Now according to the latest update court had extended the custody for the both till April 29.
News agency ANI posted a video on their X which showed both accused can be seen excited in the court premises and their faces were covered with black cloth and the hand were held by the officers
Few days Bach the police recovered a gun and some cartridges from the Tapi River in Gujarat’s Surat city. Officials said that the search for the other gun was underway.
Both the accused had confessed during the interrogation that they threw the weapon into the Tspi River from a railway bridge while fleeing g to Bhuj by train. Reportedly the gun was supplied to the shooters hours before the incident on Sunday morning. The Mumbai Police declared that Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Boshnoi are wanted in the case.
