Mirzapur 3 is one of the most active OTT shows. The second season of the series was aired in October 2020. Fans ha e been eagerly waiting for the third season since then. More than a month ago the team through Prime Video announced that Mirzapur 3 would surely be aired this year. But after that no news have been shared by them. Few days back there were reports of Mirzapur 3 being aired after IPL 2024. But there are possibilities that the speculations may not be true.
Recently Prime Video have announced that Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat 4 will be aired from May 28, 2024 which is the day of the final match of IPL 2024, after which Prime video is to release Panchayat 3. Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal starrer Mirzapur 3 is also to be streamed by Prime Video after IPL 2024.
Therefore there can be possibilities about the delay of Mirzapur 3, because no platform will release two of its biggest web series close to each other. It is already confirmed that Panchayat 3 will be released by the end week of May, so, the platform will maintain a decent gap between both the shows. Mirzapur 3 may be released by the end of the year or during the festive seasons of Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi.
Besides Panchayat 3 and Mirzapur 3, Prime Video is also to release Family Man 3 and Patal Lok 2. It is expected to bring in the same popularity as their previous seasons.
