Bahl’s supernatural thriller movie Shaitaan has managed to earn ₹100 crore worldwide in six days. The movie is a remake of a Gujarati movie Vash which was released in 2023. Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Jyotika, Janki Bodiwala and Annand Raaj are the main characters of Shaitaan. The film has already earned ₹75 crore in India in six days. Reportedly, Shaitaan was made in around ₹65 crore. The supernatural thriller have already entered the ₹100 crore club. Sacnilk.com reported that Shaitaan has reached the milestone on its fifth day i.e Tuesday. They have also reported that the movie added roughly ₹6.25 crore to it’s Indian collection on sixth day. The movie took its total to ₹74 crore nett in India,as per early estimates.
Shaitaan is the third Hindi movie to reach the milestone this year, and the seventh Indian film of 2024 to hit the ₹100 crore worldwide. According to Sacnilk.com, Shaitaan earned around ₹80 crore in India and estimated ₹20 crore in five days.
Shaitaan is Ajay Devgn ‘s third consecutive movie in the post-Covid-19 pandemic era to cross ₹100 crore after Drishyam 2 and Bholaa. Shaitaan is Jyotika ‘s first ₹100 crore movie, after her comeback after more than two decades. It is R Madhavan ‘s third film in the century club. Vikas Bahl also scored his second ₹100 crore grosser after 2019’s Super 30.
Shaitaan had opened at ₹14.75 nett in India on Friday, Saturday it collected ₹18.75. Earning of the Film on Sunday was around ₹20 crore nett. On Monday, the earnings was around ₹7.25 crore, Tuesday it was ₹6.5 crore and Wednesday it collected ₹6.25 crore nett. The supernatural thriller has managed to make it’s entry in the century club and had made business of ₹100.5 crore within first week itself.
