The romantic drama film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has marked the 10th film of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s 10th film. The movie has been directed by Neeraj Pandey.
Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s starrer had a slow start at the box office and couldn’t pickup in the first three days. Sacnilk.com has reported that the film has collected ₹6.75 crore till now. The movie Auron Mein Kahan Tha has clashed with Janhvi Kapoor’s film Ulajh.
As per the reports, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha on its first Sunday, collected ₹2.75 cr. The film grossed ₹1.85 crore on its opening day, and went on to show a slight growth on day 2, collecting ₹ 2.15 crore. After three days, the film is yet to cross ₹6.75 crore.
On Saturday, the film had 13.42 percent Hindi occupancy. Overall, the occupancy in theatres in terms of morning shows was 6.12 percent. In afternoon shows, it was 15.21 percent, evening shows it was 18.19 percent, and night shows it increased at 14.17 percent. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on July 5, but later it was delayed after the box office dominance of Prabhas’s starrer Kalki 2898 AD. The movie spans a timeline of 20 years which has been set between 2002 and 2023. Actors Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar can be seen portraying the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu’s characters in the film.
An expert from the Hindustan Times had reviewed the film which reads, “Some trimming would have made this a good watch. Alas, Neeraj Panday, who also gets writing credit, gets carried away. The film’s last shot says ‘Sometimes, it never ends…’ Exactly what I felt about the film at one point.”
