Indian Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari unveiled and launched a film on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, titled “The Pride of Bharat Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.” Set to release on January 23, 2026, the film marks Sandeep Singh’s directorial debut in high-budget cinema. The project, spanning multiple languages, portrays the Maratha warrior’s life authentically, featuring grand sets and advanced technology. Singh expressed excitement about the film, which has been in the making since 2019.
The lead actors are yet to be revealed, and the team includes Aseem Bajaj as director of photography and Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer. The cinematic tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj promises a captivating portrayal of his life and battles.
