Currently, Janhvi Kapoor is all set for her upcoming film Ulajh. The movie is to be Janhvi’s second theatrical release of this year after Mr & Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkumar Rao. Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with the film Dhadak (2018). She has received both troll as well as praise. Being a star kid, Janhvi had to always face criticism, mean comments and trolls. As a star kid she had to face scrutiny for everything she did, be it through photos or her performances.
Janhvi in a recent interview opend up about the online criticism she had to face because of her celebrity status. In the interview with Mashable India, Janhvi said that one shouldn’t take themselves too seriously Whether you are a public figure or not, people will still troll you on social media. According to Janhvi, one shouldn’t give themselves too much importance. She said that it’s not like people are passing comments only on her. Dhadak star further added, “People will praise you for something, and later, they will troll you for the same things.” But one cannot cry over that. According to Janhvi, what matters is how a person looks at themselves.
Janhvi’s fil Ulajh also starred stars like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Jitendra Joshi, and others. The movie has been directed by Sudhanshu Saria. The movie is to be released on theatres on August 2, 2024. Last week, after the trailer launch, Janhvi was hospitalized due to severe food poisoning. The actress has now returned home and is doing well.
Apart from Ulajh, Janhvi’s upcoming project is Devara: Part 1. The action thriller is to be marked as Janhvi’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The movie has been directed by Siva Koratala. The film also stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Devara is to be released on September 27, 2024. Janhvi’s second Telugu film is with Ram Charan. Currently being called #RC16, it will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The actress is to reunite with her Bawaal co-star Varun Dhawan for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which is a romantic comedy. Helmed by Shashank Khaitan. The movie also features Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra in key roles.
