Actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied knot on June 23. Now, Sonakshi’s mother-in-law spoke for the first time about their interfaith marriage.
Sonakshi and Zaheer have dater for seven long years before getting married. The couple’s wedding was a private. They took vows infront of their immediate family members and close friends. Later, the couple has arranged a star-studded reception party. After being a month of their marriage, they are still in gossip.
Few days back, Sonakshi and Zaheer have opened up about their nervourness before telling they want to get married to Shatrughan Sinha. They also revealed that Shatrughan was quite relaxed about his daughter choosing Zaheer as her life partner. But Zaheer’s parents have have shared their opinion about Sonakshi and their marriage. Zaheer’s parents in an recent interview with Galatta India have praised about Sonakshi’s kind and genuine gesture. According to them their new bahu have a heart of asli sona (pure gold). According to Zaheer’s parents, they believe that they couldn’t imagine anyone else as a better match for their son. Zaheer’s mother expressed how happy and blessed they are to have Sonakshi as their daughter-in-law.
Zaheer’s parents admire the love and respect Sonakshi has for everyone. Zaheer’s parents said, “God bless both of you all, love you, take care, and be happy always.” Few days back the couple went on a honeymoon in the Philippines and they shared pictures and videos on their social media. The couple look adorable together.
After their marriage, Sonakshi took to her Instagram and shared pictures with husband Zaheer. The actress captioned her post as, “Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for. If this is not divine intervention… we dont know what is. We are both truly blessed to have each other, and so much love protecting us.”
On the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in the Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror comedy film Kakuda. The film also starred Ritesh Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. Sonakshi also appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series Heeramandi. The series has been released on Netflix and it also starred Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Fardeen Khan, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, and Sharmin Segal in crucial roles.
