Recently actor Shafi who also plays a crucial part in director Prashanth Neel’s Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam took to his Instagram account and confirmed that the shooting of the film is to commence soon.
Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam is thr most anticipated film. Recently a source of Hindustan Times confirmed that the sequel of Salaar Part 1: Cheasefire is to be made this year. After this, Shafi also confirmed the news on his official social media account.
The actor shared a fan-made picture of Prabhas from the climax scene of Salaar Part1: Cheasefire, and captioned it as, “Get ready for the unfolding cinematic saga as the shoot for Salaar 2 begins soon.”
Recently a source shared to Hindustan Times, “Prabhas along with Prithviraj will start shooting for the film in the second half of June. The first schedule of the film will be 15 days long. They are shooting intense action sequences first. They will be shot in Chennai as well as the film city in Hyderabad.”
Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam is to be the continuation of the Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The movie is about two childhood friends Deva (Prabhas) and Varadha (Pithviraj) who later turned foes. The movie is set in a fictional city of Khansaar. The movie also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Binnu Simja and others in crucial roles. The sequel of the movie is to be on floors in 2025.
The first part of the film which is Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire hit the theaters on last year in December 22. The film had a clash with Shah Rukh’s Dunki. The movie minted Rs. 715 crore at the box office. The film also received decent reviews from the viewers and the critics.
Prashanth’s is to make a film with Jr NTR which is to be on floors after the wrap up of Koratals Siva’s Devara: Part 1. Prabhas is busy shooting Maruthi’s The Raja Saab and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD.
