Boney Kapoor has exciting plans for his upcoming film, “No Entry 2.” The sequel to the 2005 hit is set to feature a whopping 10 actresses alongside popular stars Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan. While the names of these leading ladies remain under wraps, the anticipation is palpable, given the star power of the male cast.
Confirming the cast details to Pinkvilla, Boney Kapoor revealed, “We start No Entry 2 by the end of this year, sometime in December. It is with Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. We are yet to cast the girls, but as soon as Maidaan releases, we will proceed towards the casting of the girls. There are 10 girls in the film.”
The original “No Entry” featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan in lead roles, with actresses including Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Celina Jaitly.
However, before Boney Kapoor could share the news with his brother Anil Kapoor, rumors about the sequel had already spread. This led to some frustration, with Boney stating, “Before I could inform my brother Anil about the ‘No Entry’ sequel and the cast involved, he was upset as the news had already been leaked.”
Despite Anil Kapoor’s interest in joining the sequel, Boney Kapoor decided against it, feeling there was “no space” for him in the film. Explaining his casting choices, he highlighted the camaraderie between Varun and Arjun, and Diljit’s massive fan following, making them perfect fits for the story.
However, the change in the cast list seems to have strained relations between the brothers, with Boney revealing that Anil Kapoor is still not speaking to him properly. Nonetheless, he remains hopeful that their differences will be resolved soon.
As for the release date of “No Entry 2,” it’s yet to be confirmed, but reports suggest it may hit screens in 2025. With the casting process ongoing, fans eagerly await the official announcement of the full cast lineup.
